Cancellation Policy – Colac Smiles

At Colac Smiles, we’re committed to providing high-quality, timely care to all our patients. In order to do this effectively, we have a cancellation and failure-to-attend policy that ensures appointment availability is respected and that clinical time is used efficiently.

We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation with the following policy.


Cancellation or Failure to Attend (No Show) Policy

We require at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us time to offer the appointment to another patient in need of care.


If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, the following applies:

1st instance – No fee charged. We understand unexpected things can happen.

2nd instance – A $50 booking fee is required to secure your next appointment. This will be credited toward your visit when you attend.

3rd instance – The previous $50 booking fee is forfeited, and a new $50 fee is required to rebook. This will again be credited to your next appointment if attended.

4th instance – We are unable to pre-book future appointments for you. You will need to call on the day to check availability. If we can accommodate you, we’ll do our best to help.

We understand that emergencies and unavoidable situations do occur. If you believe your situation warrants special consideration, please contact our team. We always aim to be fair and compassionate.
